Data Engineer
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automate manual processes, optimize data delivery, and propose re-designing of infrastructure as appropriate to achieve scalability and cost reductions. Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS ‘big data’ technologies. Build and/or maintain analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics. Work collaboratively with management, client, and stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data reporting needs. Ensure that data is maintained and secured keeping in mind the ‘least-privilege’ security principle for teams’ access to it.
Bachelors in Computer Science or closely related field is required. Work location: Iselin, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

BIG DATA DEVELOPER
Design and develop big data solutions using Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Create tables to store data formats coming from different portfolios. Import and export data into HDFS. Set up data pipelines and ingest data using CSV, JSON, and XML and transform data. Create test cases and technical documents. Develop software specifications to include use cases, class, and sequence diagrams. Develop front-end graphical user interface. Conduct debugging and performance tuning.
Master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) is required. Work location: Dallas, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
